Literature Text

The New York Times announces its number 1 best seller, bringing a cheering crowd of shocked faces, and a blushing author onto the screen of every TV around the world

-BUT BEFORE THAT
Horses leaped across pages, eager to make it to the finish line, their manes flying in the wind like they might just wisp the creatures away.

-AND BEFORE THAT
A lion cub sniffs a new flower, keen to discover what it smells like.

-AND BEFORE THAT
The peacock finally closes its vivid wings, and looks around at the fresh colors of other birds.

-AND BEFORE THAT
A turtle hides away in its shell, weary of its vulnerable, soft flesh that's too important to risk exposing.

-AND BEFORE THAT
A cheetah runs full speed after an easy kill, only to collapse to the ground in need of rest. But knows its legs will never stop moving…

-AND BEFORE THAT
The butterfly makes its way out of the old and rotten cocoon, wanting to see what the new world has to offer.

-AND BEFORE THAT
A deer stands paralyzed in deaths road, unable to look away from the intimidating light ahead.

-AND BEFORE THAT
The tapping of rain drops fills the eerie silence of the abandoned attic room.

-AND BEFORE THAT
A shark finds joy in knowing that the water flowing around it brings it life.

-AND BEFORE THAT
A restless chipmunk buries his perfect acorn before it gets dug up by his hungry neighbors.

-AND BEFORE THAT
There were a flock of geese, knowingly heading towards warm homes.

-AND BEFORE THAT
There were lost and confused bees flying in circles, one unable to show the rest the right way because the buzzing was too loud.

-AND BEFORE THAT
There was a blank page
This was a quick sort of short story that came to my mind... and thanks to ~rebblediamonds for title ideas;)

Just a lilttle explination...
Each animal represents a step that writers go through when they start writing a story... so like the bees are random thoughts in his mind that dont really have a purpose yet... and the deer trapped in headlights sort of represents writers block... ill leave the rest 2 u:p

Let me know what you think or if you have any other ideas!!
